Fourier-Spectroscopy
My Diploma-Thesis deals with the conception and the setup of a high resolution Fourier-Spectrometer used for the characterization of the emission of Thulium-doped fiber lasers. The temporal development of the emission spectrum with the presence of absorbing species in the laser cavity was observed. This method allows sensitive detection of gases like water vapor or carbon dioxide.
